| 277827 | 2004-10-03 07:04:00 | The SP2 MS update has started to load (75Gb) and is slowing all other internet operations. Auto-update has been stopped now and the SP2 CD ordered but there is still the loader running. How to stop it? At last look it was 63% done but with only 10-20 minutes on line a day it will take forever....Rod |

Disconnect from the internet then go to Start > settings > Control Panel > Automatic Updates then change your up date setting to "Notify me but dont automatically download or install them." then restart your computer then it should not download any more I Hope this helps/works :), If not post back here |
