| 277762 | 2004-10-04 20:30:00 | hi, unfortunately this has not worked. still can't send email. also when i try and click on a "favourite contact" it doesnt insert in to the address bar. i am using proxomitron and zone alarm, if that changes anything i dont know. dave. |

Older accounts used to (and may still be able to) use a proprietary HTTP mail protocol that worked in Outlook Express (and maybe Outlook). There are a number of tools around that ask as pseudo-proxies that allow you to "POP" a hotmail account in a roundabout way. |
