Check out the links down the bottom? Are they ligit?

If so then Microsoft really are the dirtiest company ever!

They are Hypocrites.... saying they're gonna strike spam down when they are the spammers!

278243 2004-10-04 20:48:00 Read the date man - 2002....

I really dont care, for a few reasons:
1. People simply needa be more careful with their email. I understand that when Joe Bloggs buys a PC he doesnt get a Manual telling him how to work it safely in todays environment, but there will be one someday.

2. People are using out-of-date, and 'weak' software, such as Outlook Express. I find a vulnerability in Outlook Express, I know that at least 75% of PC's around the world are likely to have it, so lets exploit it?! Not so if there's no email client or a variety in Longhorn etc etc. Take Linux as a good example here

3. There are measures being taken, Sender ID, which will slow down spam a lot.... Here's to that!

4. Slagging off at MS wont do any good on a public forum, do something constructive like email Bill Gates, or better still, write him a letter - just in case his spam filter gets your email ;-)

278247 2004-10-04 21:27:00 Hi Willie_M
Sorry to hear you're having problems with hotmail. But I used it for quite a while on my last computer as well as my present one, and not once did I get spammed or anything else. I used that email on forms on the net etc, yet had no problems.

On the other hand I did have one spell of spammers on Outlook Express, but soon solved that with Mailwasher.
