| 278168 | 2004-10-06 10:16:00 | I flipped the cable & all's well. I don't know why it worked for ages & then suddenly stopped. It may be a windows update made the cable direction critical. I don't go with that for a minute. If the floppy was working fine before the update then reversing the cable will give you the exact problem you found on the forum. Does it still work in Linux now the cable is back to front. |

I can't for the life of me figure why it works in Linux but not Windows. If it works in Linux then I guess there has to be a command in Linux that says "mount dev whatever reverse" :-) |
