278648 2004-10-06 07:01:00 I used Word (Office 2003) to create a letterhead (using header) and saved as a word template. It works fine.

But, when I re open this saved template (after closing Word), my letterhead is not shown on the top (header). It is there, however, when I go to preview.

Is there some settings, somewhere to show my header?

Cheers

No. I want to create a new document with the letterhead template which I created earlier. There is nothing wrong with this template.

There must be some setting that hides the view of the header.

Go to Tools/Options/View

Checked White space between pages (Print view only)

278653 2004-10-06 09:00:00 Doesn't matter which layout you are using, clicking header/footer automatically converts document to print view to show header. 45South (4769)

I believe were talking about viewing the header/footer in the document without having to go into View|Header Footer. The view that does this is Print Layout view.
