| 278568 | 2004-10-06 02:13:00 | I'm with Orcon Internet and I've had lousy performance this last week - slow page load times, slow smtp, and abysmal pings playing games online. I still get perfect speed when testing via JSG speed test, so it's indicative that the problems are from my ISP. Anyone else having noticeable problems? Thx |

| 278570 | 2004-10-07 06:10:00 | I noticed last night and today that my gaming pings have improved, but web page access and smtp times are still lousy. This from Orcon just now: "Telecom provides the bandwidth for JetStream Surf, limiting our options for improving performance - but we have escalated the fault to them. They had an issue with a router in their network, and as of today (7 October) report it has been resolved. With BitStream, Orcon provides the bandwidth and is committed to delivering great speeds, and good latency. When your connection is cut over your ping-times should drop back to normal." I'd like to see the long-term solution actually work. |
