| 278823 | 2004-10-08 22:01:00 | Putting a nicad battery in the freezer after charging is the thing to do if you want it to hold charge. Nicads self discharge. In East Timor we kept the sat phone and laptop batteries in the freezer until we needed them. Putting the phone in the freezer will only oxidise your circuitry. If you have an 021 phone get a usb gsm simcard reader/writer for about $15.00, this will store your directory. It wont store quick dials but it only takes a few of minutes to set them up. Then use factory restore settings. Are you sure you are going into messages screen and and pressing all the keys for deleting messages. There is nothing wrong with Nokia 5125. To all people who say replace it tell them to get stuffed, they are losers. Part of the scum throw away society. I have a 5110 I dont see any reason why I still cant use it in 10 yrs time. The manual for this phone is available form www.nokia.com. tedheath |
