| 278692 | 2004-10-06 11:47:00 | Some times I step outside my back door in Spring I smell the scent of lavendar - I have a home-made smoke and it almost rhymes with the fragrance of the soft wafting air of the flowers coming into bloom. Next door's wild-flowers are just giving me a boost to the low set moon. Sheesh I love Spring time! |

| 278694 | 2004-10-06 14:18:00 | Greg Like you, I love the spring smells...and lavender is simply beautiful. But its glory depends on the season & where you are. Too early here for the full-blooded lavender smell as yet. It'll be great shortly. Meanwhile I watch the rhododendrons of all colours & shapes start to bloom. We do specialise in these down here. This glory will go on for several months - only some with perfume sadly , but such a multitude it's now impossible to keep up with the names unless you're an expert. But I do have a gap where I plan to plant some lavender. Smells do count for a lot.. |
