| 278540 | 2004-10-05 23:29:00 | I use voice programs quite a bit and don't want to be tethered to my computer. Question - Is there a wireless mic \ headphone unit available here in NZ so that I can walk around the room or house whilst using Skype or MSN Messenger? This would make things much easier :-) |

| 278544 | 2004-10-06 01:18:00 | instead of searching just 'headset' do a search for 'wireless headset' this will find what you want | Jacob4165 (199) | ||
| 278545 | 2004-10-06 02:50:00 | ok - if you search Ascent you'll see that that are only two results under wirelesws headset, none of which are what I am after, which is a wireless headset with built in mic. (as per above) | PressF1 User (1065) | ||
| 278546 | 2004-10-06 03:04:00 | Search wider than Ascent Use Google. For the search string use: wireless headset site:nz Do not use quotes. Include the site:nz to restrict to NZ sites. 14,900 pages are available. Only the top 100 will probably be useful, and many of those will have headphones only. When you find something useful, use the model number to do another search. Etc. This way you will find everything that is web advertised that you are looking for. |

I guess it's true what people have been saying about this forum, it really has gone downhill - a lot! What you fail to realise is that we are all here to help each other and by deliberately putting down fellow users you bring the whole forum into disrepute. That Bluetooth unit you linked to is mainly for Cellphone use and requires other hardware to be able to speak over the Net. |

But, to be fair we have no idea what hardware you have or are prepared to buy . I also assumed that you already have Bluetooth on your system (or would install a BT adaptor) and hence want to utilise it, given that technology is mainly in that area these days for wireless headsets . If that's not the case it would perhaps have been preferable to know at the start . |
