Reminds me of an OT. Standing at traffic lights once near the wharf area of San Francisco watching a guy with his hand out begging from stopped motorists. Window wound down and motorist put a half-eaten burger in to the hand. Begger just ate it and put his hand out to the next car. Local colour.
