So now my private information which was obtained by RealNetworks during a SECURE PURCHASE TRANSACTION with an explicit commitment for security, privacy, and secrecy is being sent back to Real months later "in the clear" with no security, every time I download arbitrary files from the Internet using their utility along with the full name of the file I downloaded and the unique ID that could be used to identify my computer." |

| 278952 | 2004-10-07 12:33:00 | The real purpose of download managers? to make money of course. How do you make money? Come up with something everyone wants,Give it away to anyone who wants it then when you have built up a clientel in the millions lease out advertising space on your "killer app" |

| 278954 | 2004-10-07 12:40:00 | Keep in mind that the highly regarded download managers are not as devious as the real networks software as described in that article, there is plenty of money to be made just by serving up a few adds. | metla (154) | ||
