| 278901 | 2004-10-07 08:17:00 | Hi I find acrobat reader frustrating to use because it has poor searching capability and you can't set bookmarks. I have one large 700 page pdf document in particular that I view frequently. I tried converting it to WORD but the file was so large that it was unusable in MS WORD because a simple page up took half a minute or more. Converting to a plain text file is also not viable due to loss of formatting, although the document has no pictures or diagrams - it's all text. Does anyone know of a solution to acrobat reader limitations? Does anyone know what Latex is? Graeme |
