2014-03-29 02:29:00 | Hi guys, I originally had an ATI Radeon HD4300 512mb graphics card and have just gotten a Sapphire HD5450 1G DD3 PCI-E. However, my case seems to be too big for the Sapphire HD5450. What would be the cheapest solution for this? I googled the Sapphire HD5450 1G DDR3 PCI-E and it appears that it has HDMI, DVI-I and VGA. Mine only has HDMI and DVI-I... Looks like if mine also had a VGA port, it would be able to fit into my case too. Thanks!

2014-03-29 03:11:00 | Case is too big? Does that matter? My last graphics card was super long, just fit in touching the drive bays, theis one is shorter so has space there. Can't quite see the problem......case too small, well yes....

2014-03-29 06:34:00 | Are you saying you have a slimline case? You'll need a half-height GPU, and not many these days fit those kinds of cases. Not many performance-oriented ones anyway... | Chilling_Silence (9) | |
2014-03-29 07:20:00 | Sorry, I should've been more detailed. I've taken a couple of screenshots to help me explain a little clearer lol Take note of this first image. The top one is the graphics card that I'm trying to install and them bottom one is my current card. As you can see, it's notably shorter. s7.postimg.org My case doesn't seem to allow it to reach the motherboard due it being too short (As pictured below). Feels like I'd need to break the 'hook' part in order for me to successfully get it down. s30.postimg.org Is there some sort of accessory I can purchase to extend or it? I hope this helps explaining why my situation is.

2014-03-29 18:32:00 | It's a half height card. You don't attach it like that, you put it in the PCI-E slot in the motherboard, then screw it in...... However being half height you can't. I'd get a standard card.
