1371511 2014-03-29 00:13:00 Looking for something to replace older non upgradable HP desktop with XP. I can't find many desktops with Win7 which I would prefer for now. Elive have this option. Is the shared Radeon graphics ok? and I can't seem to find out whether the monitor is touch screen (should I need one later). I do quite a lot of live streaming and play adventure games. I'd appreciate any input and suggestions for alternatives. thanks

The monitor wont be touch screen www8.hp.com

If you wanted a non name brand Computer any reasonable REAL computer shop could build you one to your specs, AND include Windows 7.

1371513 2014-03-29 01:39:00 Irrespective of the tech specs, what are your actual user requirements? Webdevguy (17166)
1371514 2014-03-29 23:49:00 Thanks for responses. I checked out a local computer build company online but got totally confused entering specs into the system builder, too many options, not enough knowledge. I'd need to go see them. I'm not sure my 'actual user requirements" Webdevguy. Adventure games, live streaming, scrabble, bit of research, photoshop - lots of other miscellaneous stuff which I can't remember) I've been working within the limitations of my current system so I've not taken much notice of options to download movies etc Buying from a major retailer or online supplier might be ok for me but I think the graphics cards they have could be a bit too low end. bellbird (6169)
