| 1353530 | 2013-09-13 05:28:00 | A judge has ordered Auckland's council-owned water company to pay $396,000 for failing to protect its workers from a deadly gas explosion. It is rare that we ever hear of a person being at fault. Only entities are found to be at fault. If Watercare has no income other than from sale of water and wastewater I guess the ratepayers have been found guilty. Or do entities have insurance to cover such events? |
