1371930 2014-04-04 20:34:00 I would remove incredimail. Speedy Gonzales (78)
1371931 2014-04-04 20:36:00 would that cause the fans to spin loud and red flashes at startup? mark1978 (13845)
1371932 2014-04-04 20:37:00 but if it would be flat.... it would not hold the information in the BIOS?

My machine started randomly resetting the BIOS, battery was not totally dead but was below 3v, about 2.8v I think. Replaced the battery and no problems. I have also seen some boards which won't POST due to flat\low BIOS batteries.

1371933 2014-04-04 20:41:00 Hi agent, would that cause also the loud fans and red led flashes and no boot? mark1978 (13845)
1371934 2014-04-04 20:46:00 Clean it out. See if there's dust in it. Have you reconfigured the BIOS settings then saved the settings?? Another reason why it keeps resetting, the BIOS is corrupt. I know this can happen, it happened to me with the other PC here, with the latest BIOS.

It must have been buggy or something. If I flash it, it used to loop continuously (on the post screen). when I turned it on. And never booted into windows. I had to use the previous BIOS update so it'll boot into windows

1371935 2014-04-04 20:50:00 Just found the latest version of the bios, will install it and see if this makes any difference....should I also download the BIOS utilities? mark1978 (13845)
1371936 2014-04-04 20:58:00 If the BIOS file is SP something I think you can run it from within windows Speedy Gonzales (78)
