| 1354444 | 2013-09-27 20:59:00 | Does this have anything to do with the fact that Telecom killed off their 39$ contract, and 29$ non-contract pay monthly plans?? | Cato (6936) | ||
| 1354445 | 2013-09-27 22:57:00 | 1GB per day? Bugger that... And was out in Te Atatu South with my brother getting KFry, he jumped on it, tried to fire up a YouTube video, couldn't even watch it in standard definition without it stopping constantly :( Had some solid signal strength too... There's no way in hell they're VDSL2 connections! |

There's no way in hell they're VDSL2 connections! They're whatever connectivity is available at the location. This is a mixture of VDSL, ADSL2, ADSL and in a few cases I believe 3G uplink. So there' no speed guarantee, at this stage anyway. The one near our place, I can get 35Mbps up/7Mbps down out of it. One near work is more like 3/1. |
