| 1354267 | 2013-09-25 06:14:00 | What if it was agreed that NZ was so far ahead that they had already won back when it was 8 - 1 or whatever then it was decided to stretch out the competition by a few more races with NZ throwing everyone only to "win" the last one. Think of all the extra millions that scenario would produce. Ah! A conspiracy optimist!!! :D |

Virtual Eye broadcast graphics, NZ Luna Rosa, designed and built here. ETNZ design, built and crewed by NZ. Oracle, mostly built here, run by Russell Crowe. I think we can still be pretty proud. |

| 1354275 | 2013-09-25 08:49:00 | Do you want us to congratulate the losers? Isn't that the way we do it in this country?? Losing is what it's all about.. We teach in schools these days that it's not good to win but to take part. It's a wonder we win at anything these days. |

| 1354276 | 2013-09-25 10:19:00 | Fingers crossed for a good next race. The Americans have certainly upped their game, now it's our turn. Win or lose it's a good effort but I would rather they win. I don't go in for bashing teams, both have raced very well and deserve being in the final. Coming down to one race is as close to exiting and sailing gets (come on it's not that great to watch). I understand what prompts the conspiricy theories given how this could not have worked out any better for the organisers. You watch if the US wins it there will be one of those comeback movies they love making so much out next year. |
