| 279703 | 2004-10-10 00:02:00 | I receive the following error message when trying to install certain .exe files. Iv'e received this error when trying to install such applications as WinTasksPro and a plug-in package for Nero 6.x.x.xxx I am not running Windows(XP Pro) in Safe Mode, I know that much. Would anyone have any ideas on this matter? "The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed. This can occur if you running Windows in Safe Mode, or if the Windows Installer is not correctly installed. Contact your support personnel for assistance" |
