| 279340 | 2004-10-08 19:27:00 | when booting my 98se, a message is displayed that a device file: z:vvinsed.386 is missing. I have not intentionally deleted any files recently. Everything appears to be working OK. Solutions please! | trvbrown (2270) | ||
| 279341 | 2004-10-08 20:07:00 | Go to this MS Knowledge Base Article - Cannot Find a Device File Vvinesd.386 When You Start Computer (support.microsoft.com). Hopefully just editing the the registry to remove the vvinesd.386 entry will do the trick. Post back if you need further help, or have questions about the steps. |
