| 279499 | 2004-10-09 22:10:00 | Pop Quiz : when was the last time a Ford (ewww!) won Bathurst and how many times has a Ford (ewww!) won in the past 10 years? Read it and weep (tvnz.co.nz) And another one for the Ford fans, who is the best driver of all time? Once again, read it and weep (www.brock05.com). Let the facts speak for themselves! :D |

They created a 2 car HOLDON benifit. I was priveliged to work on and drive real H.O.s, admittedly used, for an Auckland FOMOCO dealership. Bring back Godzilla lets have a real race. D. |

Just keep on changing the Rules untill you get the marketing formular you want. Which is why you now have Chev Corvett (Detuned), powered Opels, chasing each other around a lovely race cirucit, with some Ford's as window dressing. The rules have been so bent to deliver what the marketers want, that a once "Great Race" has become a greater Bore than F1. D. |

| 279506 | 2004-10-10 08:26:00 | Todays race one of the best i have yet to see,And the fords are competitive.....so what are you on about? Did you watch it? ,do you follow the series? | metla (154) | ||
| 279507 | 2004-10-10 08:37:00 | Well even though Muph won in a Holden, I still thought it was great race to watch and it didn't even get interuppted with rain this year. Pity the kangaroos wanted to watch too. LOL As for Godzilla, it doesnt' seem that many years ago that it seemed like it was going to win Bathurst. LOL Guess I must be showing my age to admit watching that race too, albeit laying in a swimming pool in Perth, with the tv out in the pool area. |

Ford is allways as competitve as the bent rules allow. Should ford accidently win for once the rules will be adjusted as required, to ensure no repeats, or attempt at domminance. If the rules were fair Jack Raush (sp) would be there, with a team. D. |
