279373 2004-10-09 03:11:00 Just thought I'll post these examples, for ppl who are trying to network 2 XP PC's together. For ICS and file sharing. For ppl on dialup. It may or may not work for ADSL/Other.

sal.neoburn.net shows u what to do with the main XP PC (and how to enable ICS).

sal.neoburn.net shows u what SHOULD be under /enabled under the dialup/properties/network.
You can uninstall QOS under this option. On the MAIN XP PC.

sal.neoburn.net is WHAT should be under the LAN icon/properties. This applies to BOTH the main and the client XP PC.

sal.neoburn.net shows u how to configure the networked XP PC so it can go thru the main XP, with ICS enabled.

NOTE: The Preferred and Alternate ip addresses down the bottom, are used if u use Ihug's dialup. (Or just use 192.168.0.1, as the preferred), and leave the Alternate ip address BLANK.

Your URL's are missing the /files/ in the string:

sal.neoburn.net
sal.neoburn.net
sal.neoburn.net
sal.neoburn.net

A small tip to save those on dialup loading full screen images, when doing your screenshot if you push ALT+PrintScreen it will only capture the active window and not the full background. :)
