2004-10-10 11:49:00 | I had Xandros on my computer & decided to remove it. I used Partition Magic to delete the partitions & then remake them in Fat32. This resulted in the formation of 146 partitions as covered in my previous post. If I have to do it again I will remove the partition with Fdisk.

2004-10-11 01:00:00 | Reading this and your other thread I'm not sure I understand things. Did Xandros cause your problem (trashed your hard drive) or was the white knight after something else trashed it? Or both? ?:| | Fire-and-Ice (3910) | |
2004-10-11 10:11:00 | I now would never use Partition Magic to do anything with a Linux partition. I would use the Linux install CD and delete the partitions using that. | mikebartnz (21) | |
2004-10-11 23:05:00 | The Partition Magic caused the errors. | Mzee (158) | |
2004-10-11 23:07:00 | Depends what version you use... I tried PM7 and it killed all my partitions but I used version 8 to remove Xandros and had no problems! | wintertide (1306) | |
