279809 2004-10-10 08:26:00 What operating system? I'm guessing Windows XP ;)

What does Windows XP (or other OS) tell you it is/might be (if anything)?

Mike.

279810 2004-10-10 08:34:00 It's XP Pro. OS could not detect this beast. bk T (215)
279811 2004-10-10 08:38:00 if it's a CNR slotted modem, is the CNR slot setup properly?
(I don't know much about them, but i recall there was something about it in my own BIOS)

279813 2004-10-10 08:44:00 It is indeed in the CNR slot. How to set it up?

279814 2004-10-10 08:46:00 In my BIOS under advanced chipset features or similar, was an option to enable or disable the onboard "MC'97 Modem controller" (perhaps this)??? agent_24 (4330)
