| 279747 | 2004-10-10 05:45:00 | Hello I have just installed jetstream and have networked my desktop and a laptop through the router ( All in the same room).Everything works fine but I want to use the laptop in another room so need to buy some more cable. At the moment I am using crossover cable which from what I have read is incorrect, could anyone please give some advice.I presume I can just by some cable, run it to where I want it, then I can use the laptop the same as I can now ( I.E my tower system does not need to be on to access the internet).Thanks. |
