| 279893 | 2004-10-10 22:14:00 | I have Pent 2 with XPhome. Modem connexant suddenly gave no dial tone. sys manager said the device working properly. troubleshooting did not help. Removed the modem and replaced by DSE from old PC, and is ok. How come that the message was that modem was ok? |

| 279894 | 2004-10-10 22:27:00 | If the relay that functions to open the phone line fails a modem will still function fine as far as software concerns, however due to the component failure is unable to open the line giving error 680, no dial tone. Common after electrical storms. |
