280606 2004-10-12 08:07:00 I have a server at home that I've been playing round with. I currently have Windows 2000 Advanced Server on it and have just rebooted from an install of Fedora Core 2.

However, when I rebooted, it just came up with 'GRUB Geom error'. I am currently sitting at the shell that is off the Rescue CD that I've booted up with. I want to fix GRUB or switch to LILO if that will help my situation. I can't have it sitting like it is unbootable as I have MCSE Windows 2000 exams that I'm studying for!

This is the system config if you need it:
Dell PowerEdge 2200 333 server
HP NetRAID SCSI RAID card
4x 9GB HDD's in RAID5

I have no problems in Win2000.

Is one of the Linux gurus able to help me here?

Thanks.

280607 2004-10-12 08:57:00 Have never (successfully) used Grub but first cab off the rank in Google gave me this this (portal.suse.com) at the Suse Portal. and, this (orgs.man.ac.uk) , this (www.experts-exchange.com) and this (www-uxsup.csx.cam.ac.uk) a bit further down.
