280950 2004-10-13 23:46:00 I used to have a push button top right of OE 6 to bring up NAV. Since installing SP 2 and Norton AV 2005 I no longer have this button.
I want it back !! X-( X-( X-(

280951 2004-10-14 02:14:00 Hi J,

All you need to do is, right click on the toolbar of OE6. From the menu which appears select customize. Add the NAV button to your toolbar Click CLOSE and you're good to go.

cheers

280952 2004-10-14 02:30:00 NAV is not an option on the list. How do I add it?

280953 2004-10-14 02:57:00 It should be in there by default... well at least that's what happened with all the other versions of NAV... Of course maybe they have gotten rid of the integration of NAV and the explorer shell.

Just out of curiosity why do you wantto have NAV on the OE toolbar anyway. If you have enabled NAV to scan all incoming and outgoing mail then there is no real need to have it in the toolbar really. Just my opinion of course

See if there is an integrate with windows explorer check box in the NAV options? I'm guessing here but you never know.

cheers

280954 2004-10-14 03:03:00 I use it to check/recheck incomming attachments.
NAV just has the option to check e-mail .No mention of icons.

280955 2004-10-14 03:40:00 Is Norton AV under view toolbars?? It is for NIS 2003. It'll appear to the right of IE if u tick it. Spacemannz (808)
280956 2004-10-14 03:45:00 No it's not there. I've just upgraded from 2003.

280957 2004-10-14 03:46:00 Maybe the upgrade killed it, if u didnt uninstall 2003 first before u installed 2005. Spacemannz (808)
280958 2004-10-14 03:53:00 It was well un-installed first. JJJJJ (528)
280959 2004-10-14 03:56:00 OK well maybe they removed it altogether. I would look on the Symantec site in that case. Spacemannz (808)
