i have a laptop so i am looking to get a external usb tvtuner card and was looking around the net and was wondering what a bt chip is?

281559 2004-10-16 18:58:00 The "BT" chip is most likely the BT878P+ chip inside the tuner card, which actually decodes and interprets the video signal from your antenna into something the computer can understand.

The "BT878P+" chip is quite common, especially in the cheaper tv tuners. I haven't used one before so I can't comment on performance etc.
