281395 2004-10-15 20:12:00 Found this problem a couple of days ago. When I turn on my PC, other than the two LED's telling me the power is there nothing else happens. My monitor does not turn on. Turn off and on again away she goes.
I ran Norton's and found I had backdoor.guzu virus. This is now quarantined. The affected file is the start(1). exe file. I still have to start my computer twice. Do I need to make some changes in the correct startup file?

Until your PC boots, it cannot tell its got a virus, and apart from some rare BIOS destroying viruses (which would cause a permanent problem, and the virus you report is not one that modifies the BIOS) the lack of any boot at all is more likely to be hardware related.
