Altho I dont use FAT32 on either of these PC's. So, don't really care what it does.

However. With my 200 gb 8mb,b Seagate drives. I have all ways created 1 partition non active/active in F disk and formatted it fat 32 with out difficulties.

Note I said F DISK.

That depends how much of the hdd u formatted in FAT32. NOT much since FAT32 cant go beyond 32GB. When u format a hdd using 2k or XP.

So I ask you to explain. you cant, fine.
