281975 2004-10-17 09:45:00 What virus software?
Have you run completly updated versions of Spybot 1.3 and AdwareSE 1.05?
Do you have a firewall?

281977 2004-10-17 10:38:00 Does it stay on long enough to run msconfig and set it to diagnostic startup?

Can you boot into safe mode?

281980 2004-10-17 11:49:00 Also I would suggest only having one anti virus program installed, my pick would be anything but norton.
AVG is free.
And if you need to double check for virus there is always the Stinger, which you download the latest just before you want to run a scan.
