| 282093 | 2004-10-18 08:02:00 | This isn't really constructive, but I can tell you what the problem is. Off topic chat threads (including this very post by me). May I opine that perhaps anything not computer related should be deleted silently? Years ago this forum used to have some really elite people on it, but now there is too much chat, which dilutes the quality, and simply results in people expressing their thoughts (or do I really mean opinions and feelings?) and this results in people fighting. Now you just get the same (often wrong) advice over and over again telling people to replace their power supply (to correct any and every hardware fault), defrag, run spy bot etc. I bet you don't get as many F1 posts published as letters in the magazine anymore. No doubt this post will contribute to the noise level on this forum, in which case please accept my apologies in advance. |

A steaming heap of spurious twaddle by people that should know a whole lot better. It should be locked & binned, it's a complete waste of time & whitespace. |
