You're part of the problem Pete. Everyone round here now spells performance as 'preformance'. I mean how hard is it to get that right? Posting with poor spelling like that lowers the average IQ of all the forum users, as evidence by a few new people coming along and talking about 'preformance' like it's an actual word or something!

104 results for 'preformance' by Pete O'Neill (pressf1.pcworld.co.nz)

A little more tolerance with other people's opinions wouldn't go amiss either Pete. I constantly see you waging war on someone over something they've posted in a Which-is-Better-P4-or-Prescott thread. If they are wrong, explain why nicely. Don't start abusing them. You are the worst offender at this.

We've got a How-to-Post FAQ stickied at the top of the forum, if people don't want to use that and just post garbage then they deserved to be told how to post or RTFM.

If whiskey got banned for being sarcastic to someone posting incoherent, rambling dribble, then that's ridiculous.

Must say though, I agree with the proverb, but can see where Bruce / Robo come from.

Is it possible to report repeat offenders to their ISP's abuse center??

Of course not,no people have been harrased,no laws have been broken, nothing more offensive then a frown has taken place.

You think they should act because someone signed up for a forum twice?

My mind is boggeling right at this moment,Some of you need to get a little perspective.

A good example is me - I've been given a bit of leeway in the past after responding to some ill-advised posts.

What distresses me most is the poor impression Kiwis are creating to others, here and overseas - it's often pitiful.

Lately I made a new rule for myself - disable "Watch this topic" for almost every thread I add to - the benefit is that if someone takes exception to my post I'll never know about it.
