Does anyone know of a hack to turn off the annoying popup
"If you change a file name extension, the file may become unusable"
"Are you sure you want to change it" when renaming a file?
I do a lot of file extension changing & if I have a whole heap to change, I just write a wee batch file which works well.
But if I only have a few I just right click & rename, then I get that stupid annoying message.
If I didn't want to change it I wouldn't be renaming it.
I know it's a security measure in case of mistakes, but it bloody well annoys me.
Thanks

282480 2004-10-18 21:16:00 Well, I found this program Quick File Renamer (www.agrreviews.com)

I would also like to remove the 'are you sure' , I'll have a dig :)
