| 282233 | 2004-10-18 02:41:00 | Hi, I am wondering how exactly do i use a cd-r as a normal floppy? The only burning software i have is nero express. Running on Windows XP. Microsoft word is my word processor. Thanks, dave. |

Other than that, you could use INCD (which is a separate install from Nero, on their site), or DirectCD, which is part of CD Creator... BUT not INCD and DirectCD together. As they dont really like each other. XP has its own cd burning stuff. BUT it isnt that great. Or you could check this out. Its free. http://www.cdburnerxp.se/ |

| 282236 | 2004-10-18 03:33:00 | >Other than that, you could use INCD As far as I'm aware INCD will not write to CDR Best option is crank up Nero Express (have CDR in drive) Select Data>Data Disc> here you will see any files already on the CD, select Add, browse for the file > next, make sure Alow files to added later is ticked then Burn it. As already stated you won't be able to read the CD on another machine unless it has Nero installed as well. Why not make it easy & buy a CDRW disc then you can right click & send to.. or simply drag & drop using INCD |
