| 282454 | 2004-10-18 10:52:00 | Reinstalling OS XP Pro for this notebook. Everything works fine except the modem. Downloaded the modem from Toshiba website and installed it but XP still cannot detect the modem. Any clue at all? Cheers |

There is a file called 'SDcard controller' have downloaded but can't install it. The modem was working before but because the system was infected by virus and I was thinking of taking the opportunity to clean up the HDD and reformatted and installed a fresh copy of XP. Now ended up without a modem!!! Any suggestions, please. |
