| 282932 | 2004-10-20 07:44:00 | Hey guys I have just spent the afternoon downloading files from ftp://linux.jetstreamgames.co.nz/dist/fedora/updates/1/i386 all the files are RPM's, what I want to know is how do I update my Fedora Core 1 installation directly from the RPM's... do I just click on them is there a safer automatic way that lets Fedora decide what it will update? cheers chiefnz |

| 282934 | 2004-10-20 09:37:00 | AFAIK for Fedora you can install an app called Yum. It'll basically then fetch all the dependancies for you.... Otherwise, if you've got all the files you need, you can: rpm -Uvh *.rpm Chill. |
