| 283482 | 2004-10-22 01:24:00 | Hi all....... I am recording a line chart with 3 series recording rainfall at my place. Series 1 and 2 are 2002 and last year . What I want to do is have series 3, this year, on the chart but not to level out on the record so far this year with a horizontal line for the remainder of the period. I list the dates and daily readings on a far away corner of the worksheet but I don't want to alter it all the time to achieve this. Is there a work around here. I hope I've made this clear :^O. Short of pasting my chart in here I dunno how to put it. |

| 283483 | 2004-10-22 02:40:00 | Having a quick look at this :-- If you are doing readings every day, and have done so since 1st January 2002, you can have Column A as Days from 1 to 365, Column B as the 2002 data, C as 2003 and D as 2004. If you make a line chart of this data, Series 3 (2004) will only display a line up to the last day data is entered - (this is using Excel 2000 tho.) HTH |
