283179 2004-10-21 02:07:00 Hi

I jsut bought a rundisk USB keydrive 128Mb and I am running Windows xp. I'm curious as to how to get an icon on the desktop when the device is plugged in, so I can open it and drag and drop etc. Mac's do it.

Thanks.

283184 2004-10-21 02:54:00 Hi

Nono. I have that already. I would like it so when it is plugged in it shows and when it is not it doesn't display.

Thanks

It seems you can't do it on Windows then without having to get 3rd party software.

Yes however I am on Windows xp. Macs have it appear when it is in on the desktop, which is where I would like it.
