| 283156 | 2004-10-21 01:57:00 | Gidday All, My friend has just received a letter today from Xtra advising that his Xtra Jetstream Surf Flat Rate Plan is going to be upgraded to a Superfast Xtra Jetstream Plus plan. That is it will speed up from 256kbs to 2 mbs!!!!!!! At no additional cost and nothing having to be done by the user. ============================================ My question as a 3Gb Jetstream customer...will this speed increase also apply to us?? Or, is it just for the $70 a month paying Flat rate plans? ============================================ Isn't it great that there's competition out there now...! Was seriously thinking of changing from Xtra to Orcon as Orcon charge the same for Flat Rate, No Cap's as Xtra charges for 3Gb plan. Am still tied into Jetstream for a couple of months yet though..... Might just wait and see It's all getting very exciting though...hope the prices start dropping next...? Cheers Darcy. |

I've constantly been 4 or 5 GB over my 10GB limit per month since I've had jetstream with no decrease in speed. Until today!! My speed has dropped back to 4-7Kb/s & I've still got 8 days to go till I roll over for the new month It's absolutely excruciating waiting for pages to load, driving me nuts!! I can't complain though as I've had a great run for a few months. |
