I've done 41GB since I started on Jetstream starter on August 29th (about 20GB a month) Mainly through bittorrent (www.uknova.com) and streaming audio (BBC Radio 5). This would probably be more if I had a faster upload speed as I'd be video-conferencing (128k is a bit slow for that). |

| 283928 | 2004-10-24 01:07:00 | Nah... I had no limit and it wasnt counting it towards my cap for the better part of 9 days! This is just based on uploads + download averages, realistically it may have been slightly more because the uploads would sometimes just take off. Usually I do a good 9 gigs international and would do more if it werent for my 10gb limit! |

| 283929 | 2004-10-24 01:16:00 | on 128/128 20-30GB is easy enough to do if you're on bittorrent and you are prepared to leave the pc going for long periods overnight. If you're on an Orcon flat rate plan then it doesn't cost any more to do this Stu. On Telecoms new 2mb/192kbs 10GB plan - I probably wouldn't last much more than a day before going over the limit! Personally I blame Telecom for power shortages within New Zealand. If they were prepared to give faster speeds and better caps, then I could download what I want without leaving my pc chugging away for hours and using up all that electricity!! |
