| 283843 | 2004-10-23 08:30:00 | Good evening all I seem to have a problem with one of my emails attachments. A freind sent me a .wps file which I guess is some word proccessing document. But for some reason when I click on the attachment nothing happens. I'm lacking a bit of lingo here, but the attachment title is light in colour as if the option is not available. I'm sure there is a proper word for it. But in any case I cannot open the attachment. I.E 6 sp1, win2k Nortons 2004 virus & Security Buggered if I know. Any ideas? Any help is good help, cheers Ron |

| 283844 | 2004-10-23 08:34:00 | That is a MS Works file,...Its probally easist to get the sender to save it as rtf and mail it again. | metla (154) | ||

| 283847 | 2004-10-23 08:57:00 | > So If I install works I should be in business. That would depend on whether you have the same version of Works as what the file was created in. As Metla suggested it would be easier to have the file resent to you as a .rtf file. |

Try in OE going Tools -- > Options -- > Security -- > Untick "Do not allow attachments" or something to that effect. Restart OE and see how that goes. |
