| 283950 | 2004-10-25 20:31:00 | While I'm here I might as well give the fire a poke. I use Xtra and have no complaints about their service at all. I can recall only two outages in years (not saying others haven't happened while I was off line) and courteous people help with queries. Phones are Telecom as well and I have no complaints there, never had a billing error either. Those who complain are voices in the wilderness, nobody out there hears and if they did, they wouldn't give a toss. It is just spleen venting, but if it makes you feel better, go for it. Suggestion: Why not set up a dedicated Telecom complaints chatroom, then tell Telecom where it is. They might check that out more often, I'm sure they can't be bothered surfing PF1. | 283951 | 2004-10-26 04:24:00 | Ok, before this goes too far I'm going to put an end to it - >Growly,You can't silence people because of their views,After all we put up with your misguided and delusional views on Telecom . No I can't, I simply asked . Then again I'm a loser and don't deserve friends . >Telecom deserve all the crap they get . >U expect us to be nice about them if we don't like them? No, I expect people to save their controversial opinions for when they are needed and willing to be discussed - as you say yourself this is a post on line speeds, and not your opinion of Telcos . >What about free speech and all that . If you don't like it, then just ignore it . Free speech extends to the point were you do not openly offend others . Otherwise there would be no order, would there? and yes, please ignore my post . >The fact alot of posts on here degenerate into anti-telecon rants is not purely accidental . I'm sorry that I am always at fault . This is all my fault (sincerely), sorry . I didn't mean to criticise criticism (and in doing so become a hypocrite) . I just wish that we would either a) reserve our opinions were they are not needed, to prevent such accidental tangents as Telecom basing . I must do the same, but you must see that I was not first to put anyone down and b)ignore me in general . >If it was Hitler, Bush, Blair, Bin Laden would you say the same? Fortunately, and this is a crucial point, criticism of the above is not so prevalent in every post I read (exaggeration, more like every 1 in 3 posts), therefore I do not feel the need to ask people to stop talking about them . > Please explain why Telecom deserve to be excluded from criticism . They don't, just do it where it's needed . >Suggestion: Why not set up a dedicated Telecom complaints chatroom, then tell Telecom where it is . They might check that out more often, I'm sure they can't be bothered surfing PF1 . Excellent idea! Once again I apologise, and metla you owe me a T-Shirt now . . . |
