283570 2004-10-23 02:36:00 and im very sure that it wouldnt be copyrighted, they dont copyright things like that, do they? Mirddes (10)
283571 2004-10-23 02:37:00 And while im on the subject,If the recording industry has gone to the trouble of releasing false copies of these songs onto the p2p networks then we can assume that they are not only a commercial work but a commercial work that the industry considers worth protecting. metla (154)
283572 2004-10-23 02:39:00 Happy Bithday is copywrited, anytime anyone sings it in a commercial situation (like in a movie) then Ferryman must be paid.

No idea about amazing grace, but its not too much of a stretch that some company somewhere owns the rights to it.

283574 2004-10-23 02:45:00 but why would an company put effort into posting fake sopies of a song like amazing graze, sung by a boys choir!? Mirddes (10)
283575 2004-10-23 03:00:00 So you would get frustrated and either buy it or give up.

Im sure the song so far has generated mutiple millions of dollars for them.
