| 283888 | 2004-10-23 10:17:00 | Just trying to disable Messenger using the FAQ guide but I need to start Outlook to use its tools/options. Trouble is, I deleted the Outlook shortcut as soon as I got this machine and now can't find Outlook at all. If someone can help me find it I'll start it with the exe file. Thanks for any help...Ken. WinXP. |

To recreate shortcut on <Windows2000> Navigate to %Installdrive%\Documents and Setiings\Username\Start Menu [For just 1 user] or %Installdrive%\Documents and Setiings\All USers\Start Menu [For all users] Right Click in blank folder spot New > Shortcut Browse to Outlook. exe Typically For outlook 2003 C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\OUTLOOK.EXE Typically for Outlook 2002 C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\OUTLOOK.EXE For Outlook express typically C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\msimn.exe [Exact paths may vary with different installs] Click Ok CLick Next Type Shortcut Name Click Finish |
