1373327 2014-04-23 00:59:00 Hi guys.
I have a Panasonic CF-50 Lappy, running XP Home.
I just found it, today, been missing for a few months.
Seems to start up, okay, but still slow as.
I have a few versions of Linux I thought I'd try, plus a BSD operating system and nothing seems to start up.
DVD seems okay and shows installation on screen, but doesn't run.
Any ideas?
:thanks
Ian

If I have to stay, with XP, I'd rather pro but don't have the pro software.
Tried doing a Google, but so much (sorry) crap comes up I gave up.
I've got the Pro sticker on the base, any idea where I can get the software?

No, I downloaded and burnt the DVD.
I've made a few, over the years, so do know how to do it :)
Yes, Lappy has a DVD read/writter

1373334 2014-04-23 04:55:00 Unless youre going to pay for XP, you'll have to pirate Pro if you want it Speedy Gonzales (78)

I know you can download 7 & 8 from microsoft, so why can't we download XP?
I have the, product key, so that legal, isn't it?

1373336 2014-04-23 06:06:00 MS didn't make the ISO's available for XP. That only happened later on with Vista onwards.

The product key is legal as long as its on the Lappy so thats Fine.
