| 1373250 | 2014-04-21 03:51:00 | Hi, I have carried forward a few card games etc into my W7 Pro,datingback as far as W 95 or W98 SE--- and it works perfectly If,and only if, I was to upgrade to W8.1 home would this retro ability be lost? and/or get W 8.1 Pro would that be able to retro old programs At the moment I get green eyes when many aquaintances change to W8.1 am not too fussed as to whether my envy would be a factor as W 7 is still good Effie c |

| 1373253 | 2014-04-22 00:23:00 | Thank you people good to hear---BUT a mate of mine has W8.1 and he cannot use the same old card game--probably because originally W 7 had to be pro to get the retrospective ability, it did not work in W7 home Effie c |

| 1373255 | 2014-04-22 00:52:00 | If it's a 16 bit game then 32 bit can, 64 bit can't. www.neowin.net |

| 1373256 | 2014-04-22 01:19:00 | Failing all of the above, simply install a Virtual machinee on W8.1, install XP into that, game into XP, or even possibly Win98 into the VM . ;) | wainuitech (129) | ||
