So far as I know rent around the country is fair and apparently in Auckland below the rise in house prices. The reason I suspect is many families are stretched and cannot pay more. Although you have to wonder how Christchurch people manage. Truth is we can't. Most of us in Christchurch just can't afford another round of rent rises. |
