As per the articles it does have advantages against rootkits, malware etc at boot up. Personally my opinion is if you are the type of person who does a lot of booting from CD/DVD's or requires legacy boot options then leave it off, if not then enable it. I leave it enabled until it needs to be disabled for what ever reason. |
